Good question.
Before I leap to my thoughts it would be good to understand what Chiropractors look for. We look for Subluxations in the nervous system related to Emotional, Chemical and Physical Stress. So the underlying question is, what stress is unique to Edmonton or any other geographic in general?
In terms of weather, Edmonton can experience quick weather changes with Challenging winters so our nervous system has to consistently adapt to new weather patterns. We definitely adjust more people in the spring, fall and winter seasons than the summers.
According to the weather network, your body will need to adapt to "Active Weather Triggers". The network defines a trigger to be as follows:
- Temperature – a decrease of 5 degrees Celsius or more.
- Humidity – an increase of 20%.
- Pressure – a decrease of 0.7 kPa (kilopascal) or more.
- Dewpoint – an increase of 5 degrees Celsius or more.
